Reason's vile Interview of RFK just aggravated their irrelevance

A sad thing happened today. RFK - in his long time habit of speaking to those not in his camp - accepted an invitation to interview with Reason Magazine, one of the main libertarian journalist outlets in America.

It’s run by Nick Gillespie, a good guy I got to know a bit when I helped run Governor Gary Johnson’s nonprofit during his runs for President. His org, however, has been a horrible cesspool of Big Pharma apologism for decades (pretty much like Cato, where I served as govt affairs associate director in the early 2000s).

Reason’s Science editor, Ron Bailey for example, joined a couple lawyers at Cato (including Bob Levy) in even justifying vaccine MANDATES - the requirement to risk death for the herd. One of their top people, Katherine Mangu-Ward, once wrote: “For God's sake people. Stab your kids with needles.” In a podcast with Nick and other Reason editors, she dismissed (at minute 31) vaccine skepticism as a “libertarian hill to die on”. Insanely, she admitted in that podcast skepticism herself of the public health establishment, but not enough to entertain RFK’s skepticism of pharma’s collusion with govt to corrupt vaccine science.

NEVER (at Reason or Cato) have I EVER seen ANY vaccine skepticism, even now with All Cause Mortality elevated post-jab, or with the telling refusal of the top vaccine scientists to debate RFK (as if they are scared their lies will be exposed). Just look at Cato’s Pandemic page - ZERO skepticism of vaccine worship.

Worst of all, these beltwaytarian pharma shills always ignore the horrifying, reproduced 1,000% hike in chronic disease among the vaxxed - compared to the unvaxxed. No wonder parents are choosing healthy care over pharma poisons.

Covid allowed actually libertarian scholars to rise in attention, especially Jeffrey Tucker, who founded a new Thinktank given his recognized competence with the Public Health edifice. Bretigne Shaffer, daughter of the late philosopher Butler Shaffer, railed against vaccine mandates even BEFORE Covid. In this comprehensive paper by Block, he lists other scholars against Public Health Tyranny - including Hullsman, Rockwell, Bagus & Epstein.

The libertarian Covid collapse was so pervasive that it led to the wholesale replacement of the Libertarian Party by advocates who - as Comic and possible LP presidential candidate Dave Smith said here in an interview with Reason - wouldn’t think of stomaching the kind of pharma credulity displayed today by Nick and his cohost, some guy I never heard of.

If libertarians are going to bend the knee to rich corporate interests without investigating consumer harms emanating from their utter capture of the regulatory process, self-thinking people will necessarily support candidates outside the LP who will, like Trump or #RFK.

If Covid awakened you to vaccine corruption, send please NHF’s email to your politicians, for a national right to decline being forced into an experiment, and to demand the comparison studies RFK discussed as the specific testing failure that needs to be fixed (but which I don’t think the Beltwaytarians even understand).
